Frequently asked questions
FAQ
What is mobile IV therapy?
IV therapy delivers fluids, electrolytes, vitamins, minerals and, where prescribed, medications directly into the bloodstream through an intravenous line placed by a registered nurse.
What does an IV treatment do?
IV therapy delivers fluids and nutrients directly into the bloodstream, which bypasses the digestive system. Treatment is administered under medical supervision, and individual responses vary.
Why not just drink water?
Oral fluids are absorbed through the digestive system; IV fluids are delivered directly into the bloodstream. Our formulas contain no added sugar or artificial flavors. A licensed healthcare provider determines whether IV therapy is appropriate for you.
What is IV therapy used for?
Clients come to us for hydration and wellness support in a range of everyday situations. IV therapy is not a substitute for medical care, and we do not treat medical emergencies. A licensed healthcare provider reviews your medical history and determines whether a treatment is appropriate for you.
Is IV therapy safe?
Client safety is central to how we operate. Treatments are administered by licensed registered nurses under medical supervision. Every client completes a medical screening reviewed by a licensed healthcare provider, and your nurse checks your vitals before each treatment. As with any medical procedure, risks exist and are discussed with you beforehand.
Who can and cannot receive treatment?
Some medical conditions require individual review by a licensed healthcare provider, who may decline treatment. Clients must be at least 14 years old and complete our medical screening; clients under 18 require the consent and presence of a parent or legal guardian. Anyone experiencing a medical emergency should call 911.
